Privacy Policy

This policy explains how personal data is handled in the web game "Scroll Dungeon" (the "Service"). The Service is provided by PopPlay · Ovengame (the "Operator").

1. Information we collect

The Service can be used without registration, and we do not directly collect personally identifying information such as names or email addresses. Game progress data (level, items, equipment and so on) is stored only in your browser's local storage and is never transmitted to the Operator's servers.

2. Automatically collected information (analytics)

We use the analytics tools below to improve the Service and measure advertising performance. Through cookies and similar technologies these tools may collect visit history, in-game activity (such as stage progress), device and browser information, and approximate location at country level.

3. Advertising (Google AdSense)

The Service is provided free of charge and carries third-party advertising to cover operating costs.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visit history.
• Rewarded ads within the Service are entirely optional; declining them places no restriction on gameplay.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies collectively at aboutads.info or Your Online Choices.

4. Purpose of use

Collected information is used solely to analyse how the Service is used, improve the game, and serve and measure advertising. It is not used for any other purpose and is never sold to third parties.

5. Retention and deletion

Game data in browser storage is destroyed the moment you clear your browser data. Retention periods for information gathered by analytics and advertising tools follow the policies of the respective providers (Google, Meta).

6. Refusing cookies

You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so does not prevent you from playing, though your game progress may not be saved. To decline only advertising cookies, use the links in section 3 above.

7. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If we learn that such information has been collected, we delete it immediately.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will announce the revisions and their effective date on this page.
